Most CSO and Pops concerts take place at Music Hall, located at 1241 Elm Street, just north of the downtown Cincinnati business district, a short distance from hotels and downtown restaurants and attractions.
Music Hall was built in 1878 and designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1975. Music Hall is owned by the City of Cincinnati and managed by the Cincinnati Arts Association. The Music Hall Revitalization Corporation is overseeing the exciting $100 million dollar revitalization of Music Hall. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2012.

Advice on where to sit
Music Hall’s seating numbering system is arranged from the center of the hall. On each floor, seats closest to the center sections are number 1. Limited view tickets are printed "LIMITED" and priced accordingly.

The CSO and Pops are committed to accessibility.
Pre-concert tours of Music Hall are available for groups of eight or more. To participate in a tour, call the Music Hall Office at 513.744.3344 at least one week before the concert.
Bar service and snacks are available in the lobby and the north and south corridors prior to concerts and during intermission. A main lobby bar with specialty wines is also available at most performances.
Pre-order your beverages for intermission by stopping by a concession stand before you enter the performance.
Taxi service may be reserved by placing a request before the concert or during intermission with the concierge in the Music Hall coat room.
A coat room is located just inside the Music Hall entrance in the south end of the lobby.
Restrooms are located in the north and south corridors and both the first and second floors, and in the north corridor on the third floor of Music Hall.
Lost and found is located at the coat room. Please check with coat room personnel regarding any misplaced articles, or call 513.621.1919.
An ATM is located at the top of the escalator on the Balcony level.
Pay phones are available in the south corridor on the first floor of Music Hall.

Security personnel are on duty in five stations around Music Hall from 1-1/2 hours before the performance begins until the last patron leaves Music Hall.
An emergency medical technician is on duty from one hour before the concert until all patrons have left Music Hall.
Smoking is prohibited inside Music Hall and in areas immediately adjacent to the exterior doors. |
